96 Hyundai Accent starter turns but has no spark
 

I'm wondering if anyone has ideas on this. It seems to be sporadic. It
only happens once a month or so. The starter turns but there is no spark.
I heard they had issues like this with the ECU, but I don't know how to
test for that.

Have your car scanned for trouble codes. I've seen crank sensors cause
this. Sometimes even without the trouble code.
