Azera Infinity CD playing problem
2008 Azera - has infininty audio package.
When playing standard CDs, every 20 to 100 seconds the audio volume drops down to 25% for about 1/3 of a second. No skipping. Pressing fast forward seems to help - no drops for at least 300 seconds after pressing FF. Under warrenty - took it into dealer, they changed audio head - the CD reader part. That did not fix it. Problem occurs when engine is off, or when on the highway. (Not vibration caused. CD problem is only on the Azera - same CDs play fine in any computer, other car stereo or home stereo. -- Shameless plugs: http://www.JudgmentBuy.com http://www.TheTruthAboutHemp.com |

The vast majority of issues with sound level are caused by the amp. JBL amps have been especially troublesome. On the other hand, the idea that fast forwarding resolves the issue or that it only occurs when playing CDs suggests that the problem is within the radio. Help the dealer with how to duplicate this so they can perform diagnosis while the problem is occurring and so they can check to verify the system is repaired prior to returning the car to you. |
Re: Azera Infinity CD playing problem
Thanks - an update - the check engine light came on, and
the dealer replaced the tire pressure sensor and re-flashed the firmware for the car - and that seems to have fixed the CD playing problem. hyundaitech <hyundaimech@gmail.com> wrote: > On Jun 24, 12:50 am, m...@mail.goguys.com (Mark Shapiro) wrote: > > 2008 Azera - has infininty audio package. > > When playing standard CDs, every 20 to > > 100 seconds the audio volume drops down > > to 25% for about 1/3 of a second.
