A big "thank you" to Hyundaitech !
I would like to say "thank you"!Your information is very much
appreciated. My Hyundai dealer quoted me a price of $149.99 to just change the pads.Another $49.99 to resurface the rotors. The pads will cost me $25.00 at the local parts store,my rotors are fine,no pulsating.I thank you,my wife thanks you and my wallet really thanks you! |
Re: A big
I don't know what your $25 is getting you. Some aftermarket brakes wear
out really quickly. Others are hard and don't provide the same braking action you've been used to. But then again, how bad can they be for $25??? Anyway, you may want to consider sticking with a name brand aftermarket like Bendix/Allied Signal, Wagner, or Raybestos. |

IIRC, their generic pads were $3-$4 cheaper and the only difference was the warranty, which is pretty much a joke when you're dealing with brake pads. |

You speak for many of us. Hyundaitech is truly a valuable resource.
His/her(?) generosity and knowledge is very much appreciated. We owe a debt of gratitude. Perhaps someday we'll be able to repay the favors. Hyundaitech, just ask. |
