CD Player Mounting
I installed a Pioneer DEH-P3700MP using the mounting kit from
Crutchfield that it came with, which looks fairly cheap and has a less nice "pocket" underneath. I was looking, at it seems like I should be able to just install it like the previous unit I had (they're BOTH the same size.. i previously had the hyundai fm/am/cd). Has anyone installed a basic aftermarket stereo the normal way, and skipped using the whole mounting-kit on a 05 Sonata? I don't like the cheap plastic mounting kit's "pocket" :/ |

True. Sadly, my one reason for not trying it (and hoping other people
have already tried) is that it takes more time to re-set my favorite stations than it does to disassemble/reassemble ;) I'll give it a shot this weekend maybe On Fri, 30 Dec 2005 19:56:07 -0500, "Mike Marlow" <mmarlowREMOVE@alltel.net> wrote: > >"Wooti" <wooti82.5.iw@recursor.net> wrote in message >news:rkfbr117lhvi64v6ssa48btf4tuuu8agec@4ax.com.. . >> I installed a Pioneer DEH-P3700MP using the mounting kit from >> Crutchfield that it came with, which looks fairly cheap and has a less >> nice "pocket" underneath.
