excel 1998 losing clutch pressure

Hi,

Ive had the clutch, master and slave cylinder replaced and the clutch is
losing pressure. There seems to be no leakage and the reservior doesnt
need refillinh.

An example of the problem is; depress the clutch and purt it into gear
with foot on the brake. The car will eventually stall as the clutch
engages despite the clutch being depressed.

Re: excel 1998 losing clutch pressure

There's probably air still in the system. Start with rebleeding the
clutch
system. If it's only a small amount of air, pumping the clutch pedal
will
usually restore hydraulic pressure, and the air will tend to work itself
out over time.
