Flickering battery lite

Have a 2002 v-6 2.7 and this morning the battery light flickered all
the way, 23 miles 1/2 hour all the way to work, on the way home
flickered just 3-4 times. Car started just fine but this is the 2nd
post describing this problem... any ideas anyone?

Got into work this morning and the light was still flickering, called
the dealer and made an appointment for Wed, my day off. Coming home
tonight about half way home the lite came on and stayed on. Its all
highway driving and when I got off the interstate and at an idle the
light went off and as I left from the traffic light the light came on
the lightes all dim and no kidding it sounds like I'm in a helicopter!
Parked it in the driveway pointing out just in case. Oh crap. Whatever
it is it's affecting all the electrical now.
Thanks for the replies.
I'll let you all know what they find but in the meantime... any
ideas....

I recommend you either charge the battery and take it to a close by dealer
or have it towed. Your car is telling you it's not charging the battery
anymore. If you try to drive it any further, it will probably stop on you
as you've already just about drained all the energy out of the battery.
