Good Hyundai Service place near Glen Ellen, IL?
My son graduated from college a year ago and is living in the Chicago
suburbs and needs to get the front brakes done (and replace the belts on the motor, probably) but received quotes varying from $225 - $265. I asked him to check to see if they will use OEM brake pads since he has been happy with its performance thus far (not sooty and not grinding down the rotors). He has an '06 Elentra. I was a little disturbed that he was quoted $225 or so for the 3 belts. I do all my own work but I am half way across the country (he is not mechanically inclined). So if some folks have places they could either recommend or caution me about I would appreciate it. Thx! KWW |

For a private shop, I can highly recommend Automotive Specialists in Lisle. They are located on Ogden Avenue. I have used Automotive Specialists for over 20 years and these guys are very knowledgeable and honest. I've used them for both general maintenance and major repairs. Both of these are close to Glen Ellyn. |
