How to change 2007 Sonata stereo fuse?
Hello, my stereo doesn't work-no lights, no sound, no cd eject. I believe it's the fuse. I opened the fuse panel located on left side of dash-believing it would be as simple as pulling out the fuse with fuse puller and replacing it. Wrong-first, although the amp numbers are familiar to me (e.g. 10,15,20 etc) the fuse is not the standard size-it's rather tiny. However, my problem is that the fuse for audio (15) is located in a separate little fuse housing that houses not only the audio fuse but the memory fuse as well. I pulled out the housing (and put it right back because all my panel lights went out) but can't pull out the tiny little fuse to check it and replace. What am I doing wrong?? Although these fuses are smaller than those with which you're familiar, they are indeed quite standard. There should be some spares in the fuse box. You should also be able to purchase some at any auto parts store. |
