How to get access to Service Manuals on www.hmaservice.com?

I registered on www.hmaservice.com.

I did not find my way to the Service Manuals.

I am looking for the procedure to reinstall the timing belt on the 1.6
liter DOHC engine used on the 92 Elantra.

Can you give me some pointers?

Thank you very much in advance.

If you're able to log in, you can access the service manuals by going to
"Service Information" and clicking on the "Shop" tab. You may need to
have your pop-up blockers turned off. I've not heard whether the new
format works with browsers other than IE.

I just tried it with Firefox and could not get it to work, but it did
not give me the old message indicating that it only works with IE. That
means it won't work with Netscape, either.

Most likely. A friend of mine tested the site with Internet Explorer
on a McIntosh and it did NOT work.

I will send them a message to tell them Microsoft Internet Explorer is
not the only game in town.

Fortunately, Hyundai did not put Windows in the Engine Control Unit.

Microsoft tries to invade the automotive world via the entertainment
systems. No doubt, they would like to see Embedded Windows in all the
car microcontrollers. Could you imagine the result!

I can testify that before the site change, it didn't work on mac, even on
IE.

Crap the only way I've been able to change the timing belt on either
of my 92's is to pull the darn engine half out of the car and I also
eventually purchased the special tensioner tool . There is no friggen
clearance!!!!!! Oh and pay attention to counter rotating the engine
after installing the belt otherwise ....POING! goesthe new belt when
you start the engine . Thank god it was alot easier on my 01 Elantra .

Mortech on ElantraXD
