hyundai elantra's (2003) low ground clearance, brake and suspension isuues
hi,
My 2003 Elantra GLS which is done about 1600 miles and got following issues:- 1.front frame started hitting the sloppy ground when I back up from driveway .is this due to some suspension problem .the vehicle goes visibly down when we apply brake and give a feel of soft suspension. I can also feel even a slightest road irregularity at all speeds. 2.the brake pedal goes down to the floor and it's giving a soft non-assured feeling. It's an ABS equipped all disc brake. How can I rectify above problems and please give some suggestions. |

First thing I would check right before I drive to the dealer to have them check it out is the brake fluid. Air in the lines could also be a cause I believe. At any rate, with only 1,600 miles you should be well within the warranty and able to get it checked and fixed for free. Dave -- You can talk about us, but you can't talk without us! At 1600 miles your warranty should cover any concerns. Bring it to a dealer and let them check it out. |
