Hyundai surpasses Toyota...
I read today in AutoBeat Daily that in the latest J.D. Power and Associates
automobile quality survey, Hyundai actually surpassed Toyota in the 'Initial Build Quality' category. Lexus still beat out all makes by individual nameplate. But Hyundai did score better than the individual Toyota nameplate. And as manufacturers go, Hyundai tied Honda for the number two slot. The combination of Toyota/Lexus/Scion was ranked number one manufacturer. Toyota's Lexus luxury brand brought their numbers up quite a bit. It certainly wasn't the Scion nameplate that did it for them! :-) The very worst nameplate on the survey list was none other than Hummer. R.M. |
