dunno, but i'm led to believe the alpha engine in the Accent isn't
really strong enough to do too much to. Word i hear is you'd be better
to find a beta engine from an Elantra or other. They do fit without
too much fiddling.

The word you're looking for there is "power" horse power or horsepower
went out when they stopped making steam powered TVs. How many drivers
even know what a horse looks like? power is measured in watts or in
car's case Kilowatts.
k&n may increase your power but it almost certainly will increase the
amount of dust that gets into the engine. Of course k&n will never
admit that, mainly i suppose because nobody's ever going to be able to
prove that engine damage was caused by it. The only real effect being
the reduction of an engines life from a very long time to only fairly
long time.

i believe they can go to 17 and possibly further but i hope you have
good roads to drive on.

before you start it may be a good idea to measure how well it's going
before you modify it, because it may just become a memory. most
modified cars are probably slower than stock but give the owner lots
of satisfaction by being loud, uncomfortable and using a lot of fuel.
Have fun.

"Horsepower" is still used as a measure of power here in the United
State. It equals .746 KW.

By it's own definition, this is not a supercharger.
A real "supercharger" has at least one moving part.
This does not. Please do not waste your money on this.

No, it just another piece of junk "gimmick" that will do nothing but
drain your wallet. There are NO magic solutions to dramatically
increasing horsepower. If such things actually worked, ALL cars would
come with them from the factory.
