Installation of '00 sonata power window regulator

Hi Friends,

I have 2000 hyundai sonata GLS. The left front power window regulator
isn't working. So I bought a new one.
I need help in installing power window regulator. I would appreciate if
you can give some step by step detail for installation. Any special
TIPS would be very helpful.

Thanks.

Re: Installation of '00 sonata power window regulator

It's pretty simple.

Remove the door panel and peel the plastic splash guard away.

Unbolt the window from the regulator and tape it to hold it up or remove
the glass from the door.

Unplug the motor.

Remove the four regulator nuts and the three motor nuts and remove the
assembly throught the big hole in the bottom of the door.

Remove the three screws holding the motor to the regulator and install
motor on new regulator.

Installation is the reverse of removal.
