Judder when driving - cold start -5deg C

Hyundai Tucson 2005 model CDX Diesel.. Cold morning -5 deg C first
quarter mile judder - thought brakes were sticking or had a front
nearside flat - not engine falter - definately downstream from
transmission as a declutch didnt stop it..
any suggestions .. A Moto Mind in the office suggested the Traction
Control System ..
Anyone had this before..

Perhaps there was snow or ice on the wheel causing it to be out of
