Need advice on where to connect switch and LED to add new keyless-remote to Sonata

Hyundai Sonata V6 / 2000

I lost a previous remote lock for my car and need to program the
system with a replacement.

I have the technical service bulletin "01-90-011"
"Programming Hyundai Security Systems" which tells me that my car has
the "Clifford" system

My new remote doesn't look like any of the devices in the bulletin.

Also, the bulletin does not show where the LED/Switch are connected to
the vehicle to perform the programming. Can somebody advise please?

It doesn't look like any of them?? I believe you should have 00243-16110.

If you have a valet switch, it should be on the left front kick panel
below the dash.

That's the part number mentioned in the tech bulletin but my remote,
which looks very similar, doesn't have any marking on it. I took it
apart to check for any part numbers inside and the PCB has a few
markings:

E3018500101A
K/ENTRY TX
93/04/01

I am not sure what a kick panel is. I did a good search of the Sonata
2000 but will have another look. The only item I could see under the
dash are a multi-way connector and a smaller one adjacent to it. I
think that is a 2 way connector.

The kick panel is the plastic trim piece on the left in front of the door
sill plate and under the dash. The part number on your remote should have
been on the packaging, but you will be unlikely to find any indication of
what it is on the remote itself.

I have had a very through look around this area of the car with a
friend and there is no switch to be seen.

Unless it is sited behind some panel that must be unscrewed I just
don't think my model Sonata has the switch.

Can you suggest how I can find a method of programming my new remote
key?

Perhaps if I could locate the keyless entry electronics I could trace
the wiring?

Your Sonata is UK-spec'd, so that TSB does not apply to your car.
