Are the injectors pulsing? Do you have fuel pressure? Is it cranking very
fast like no compression?

i do not have injector pulse and was told to change the ing module, it did
not start the car. it is cranking fast, i have no juice at the crank angle
sensor which is in side the dis assembly, the com is excepting the
scantool so i can communicate with it , so the com must be working? if the
pickup module wich is replaceable in the dis, was bad wouldnt there be no
spark? i have spark!

Re: no start 92 hyundai excell

The distributor has a crank and cam sensor. Depending on which fails and
how, I could foresee spark but no pulse. Keep in mind that the car
doesn't need to know which cylinder is firing for spark, the distributor
does that manually.

How does the engine oil look? I've seen sludged engines seize camshafts
so that the dowel on the end of the camshaft broke off and the sprocket
turned on the camshaft. I've also seen damaged crank sprockets that are
worn on the flats that go against the crankshaft. Either of these
conditions will look like the engine is in time because the sprockets are
lined up, but the cam or crank may itself be out of position.
