Oil Change?
My 2003 Elantra is almost at 3,000 miles. The manual says that I don't need
an oil change until 7,500 miles. What has been the experience of the newsgroup on this? Opinions are welcome. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). Version: 6.0.504 / Virus Database: 302 - Release Date: 7/24/03 |

I'd have to check, but I thought the first oil change was at 3,750. Dave -- You can talk about us, but you can't talk without us! US Army Signal Corps!! www.geocities.com/davidcasey98 |

Opinions are welcome. Your vehicle, assuming you drive it, likely does not qualify for the service schedule you're looking at. The heavier duty service schedule calls for oil changes every 3,000 miles. -- Jerry Kindall, Seattle, WA <http://www.jerrykindall.com/> 2003 Chianti Red Elantra GT When replying by e-mail, use plain text ONLY to make sure I read it. Re: Oil Change?
I changed the oil on my 2000 Sonata at 1000 kms. it is better to change the
oil as soon as possible. After the first oil change is better for the car to change it every 3000 miles, this way the engine last longer.
