Ok, that's it, I'm closing my business and going to work for Hyundai

Just a few short months ago, an acquaintance told me she purchased a
fully loaded V6 Sonata. We were on the phone so I felt free to express
my contempt by shaking my head in disdain. What did I know about
Hyundai then? Absolutely nothing. It was a perception, as someone else
pointed out, more of a prejudice. Then I saw the car. I was taken
aback because it was so attractive, allowing a slight opening of my mind
about Hyundai. That's when I found this NG and Hyundai Connection, and
have made a complete turnaround. Even though I haven't purchased my car
yet (that will happen in April when current Accord lease terminates), I
am more than enthusiastic about Hyundai, I've become a crusader and feel
its my mission in life to save future car buyer's everywhere :).

I post on a women's shopping board where anything and everything is
discussed. One woman posted a request for recommendations for a used
car. Her mother only had $5,000 to spend (to which I later learned the
poster was going to contribute to), fixed or lower income bracket, the
car absolutely had to be reliable. I made quite a presentation, and all
the reasons why to consider a used Accent and told her, under no
circumstances, is she to listen to anyone's opinion who does not own a
Hyundai. (I may have even repeated that a couple of times :). I also
provided info about this NG and Hyundai Connection, and Edmund's.

Other posters, of course were recommending used Honda, Nissan, Toyota,
warning her about reliability and resale value.

I would like to say a big thank-you to everyone for your wonderful
car advice. My Mom decided to get a 2002 Hyundai accent.It's got
everything except the power windows and locks and is a beautiful car,she
says...It has 29,000 miles,so the bumper-bumper still has 31,000 miles
or 4 years left. We got a good deal paying about $8,000.00(about
$1,000.00 less than the blue book),so I was very pleased with that...It
really pays to buy at the end of the month,to get the bargains. A
special thanks to Robin for suggesting we look into the Hyundai and the
other Hyundai owners,I don't think we would have even considered
it,without you. I read every online review that I could find and every
single one was positive and the most important thing is that my Mom is
very happy with the car....Thank-you all again from the bottom of my
heart,we could'nt have done it without your help....My Mom would'nt be
able to get to her treatments without a reliable car,so I can't tell you
how relieved I am...Love,Vampy

Vampgirl -- I need a new car and I was very surprised at all of the
favorable reviews of Hyundais. I'm looking at the Sonata.

Ok, I did a good job, but I'm bothered that Vampgirl's mother paid
$8,000. That's what I would expect to pay for a new one with some
negotiating skills. I was hoping her mother would benefit from this
horrible resale value I hear so much about.
