Maybe there is some built in thing where if the key isn't in the ignition it locks itself to prevent it being left unlocked while unattended? On my Sonata MY2002 this happens if I open the car with remote and then wait
for more than about 60 secs; of copurse it does not happen if I enter the car. On my previuis Sonata MY1993 it happened sometimes (and once with keys inside car!) especially in summer, may be some false contact on locks.. Zotto |
