Rearview mirror adhesive
My rearview mirror came off. My Elantra has an extra heavy one piece
rearview mirror. I will need some stronger glue than what I have been trying. That two stage rearview mirror glue is a joke. Any suggestions, please? |

My van has a large heavy mirror which includes electronics for auto dimming and it has stayed on with the regular one step RVM adhesive products. Other then the above steps, I do not know of anything else better. |

Yes, I cleaned the window and the metal plate of the mirror assembly. I will look for RVM adhesive products, though. Thank you. |

Re: Rearview mirror adhesive
3.00 tube at your local hardware store. This is what I did. The mirror never
felll off again. I sold the car after 5 years. Silicone makes a perfect bond between glass and metal.
