sonata starting problems
 

I recently got a 1997 Hyundai Sonata but it gives a lot of problems in
starting especially the first time in the day (early morning).
Additionally, many times it goes off as soon as I try to move after
putting in reverse or drive. Please advise what the cause could be.

Start by checking for diagnostic trouble codes. If there are none, then
check for proper idle switch and air bypass adjustment. A throttle body
service may be in order.
