Tiburon Ground wire kit
Hi, It is me again,
Same car 2004 Tib I-4, 5spd. I was going to make and add a ground wire kit but where are the places I should tie in to. I know the ground on the coil and the firewall but what other places should I hit also? Or is it a choose at your own will type of thing after the coil and fire wall? Thanks Greg |

Go to the Elantra GT Club Website. There are DIY instructions for building your own ground wire systems. http://www.elantragtclub.com/ Here's another good site: http://www.elantraxd.com/index.php If you're expecting huge horsepower gains from adding grounds, you're going to be disappointed. It's certainly worthwhile supplementing the factory grounds, but unless you've got a real problem, there won't be any significant performance improvement. |
Re: Tiburon Ground wire kit
Thanks for the links,
Not looking for any power gain with this mod as my main reason for doing the ground kit is that once in a while as I am driving at night...be it on a pull or just flat out crusing my head lights will dim a little for less than a second then get bright again and I am hoping this will help. Again thanks for the links. That is a typical behaviour of Hyunday voltage regulator, and it's normal; it works this way to avoid sudden changes of charge current on battery , I have read somethi ng about this on a TSB. Thus, nothing to be worried about. Zotto |
