05 Mustang and 96? 3000GT VR-4
 

A kid at my school just picked up a 1996 (I think) 3000 GT VR-4. another guy got a 2005 Mustang GT. They're both virtually stock, but anyways, the guy with the mustang always parks behind me, so we're always in front of/behind each other when we pull out of the lot, and when we got on the freeway, he decides to mash it when I have a car in front of me, he slows down, and I catch up to him, then he honks to 3 and mashes it, as I do too. up to about 120ish, I pull him 2 car lengths, possibly 3. then, over the river bridge, the kid that bought the 3000 GT comes FLYING up next to me, and mashes it, and boy is it funny to watch an AWD mash it at 70. Needless to say, rocked his world by a good 8 car lengths up to 125-130ish. It was a good afternoon :)

**** 130's fast.i've been in a car going about 110. my dad said he went 145 in his big block vette and he could keep control of the wheel so he had to let off.lol

Couldnt tell ya how fast ive gone in the maro since the rear end gears play with the speedo so nicely.

However...ive gone 170...on 2 wheels :D

good kill, i had my camaro up to 145, 1 TIME, when my sisters bf told me my car was slow, i was like get in...... But it has seen like 130, a few times

not with the 20"s on, right? how's the search for new wheels? decide on anything?

yah ha actually it was with the wheels on, it was about a week ago, but i think i am going to just go with the rebels, for now... I like them, i jus hope the lip is nice on them....

I've had my car ripping down the TransCanada doing 245 kilometres per hour... that equates to 152 MPH. Made it to Saskatoon from Winnipeg in 5 hours, as opposed to the usual 8 hours it normally takes (Understand that I wasn't doing 245 all the way there, that would equate to horrid fuel mileage... we were doing 245 KMH fly-by videos for our F-Body Generations club/site). It was me, my friend Wildside in his Trans Am, and STOLN in his Z28.

Ive been went 130 once .... my dad was driving... the speedo said 100 and we didnt know how far it was off after we switched to a 3.27 rear end gear... later we found out just how far off it was

All ur speedos were most likely off a good little bit so dont think ur 2 fast now :nana:

In Manitoba (where I live), it is required that all gauges be calibrated prior to sale as part of the Manitoba Vehicle Safety Certification. My car came with the V8 gauges (thumbs up to the previous owner!) that will read that high.

Well, as you all know the V-8 gauges read up to 155, I had my needle past the 155 almost touching the steering column, best guess was I was doing about 170-180... That was ONE time, just to see what she could do, the dashed lines turned solid, and it was time to slow down! lol

Now my question to you guys is who has trap speeds in the 100's or better! :lolsign:

I'm sure I could trap 100's, in the 1000 foot, I can trap a constant 96mph.

I need to get moving and get some dart heads, show you LS1 boys what speed is. ;)

i've seen a lotta these 05 mustangs around, problem is all i see is the v6s. correct me if i'm wrong, but the gts have those fogs lights in between the headlights right?
