haha you guys dont get it. this car when i saw it a couple years back was making 420+ whp in a vx shell and trapping around 127 mph on street tires. from what i hear the car has been toyed with since then. its a fast car. if you see the vid of it at the track running mid 11's itll be the proof you need. the mph is there to top end a bike. plus i took the video of the car at the track. for all the doubters its gsrmatts old car

ok I beleive you about the car, but as he said in the story he had 4 guys in the car which is a min of 400 lbs, street tires which would make him spin the front tires even at 50kmh with the weight of 4 guys on the back tires. to top everything a 600 would run deep in to the 10's on a street tire and go threw the traps at close to 130 mph. No disrespect to the car its a dam fast honda, but pls explain how this could happen with what i just explained.

obviously rider makes a big difference. a 600 wont run 10's. its a mid 11 second bike. you get a 1000 and thats your 10 second bike. a bikes biggest advantage is from a dig obviously and this wasnt. as i said, 127 mph if i remember correctly and that was going back some years now and from what i hear the cars even faster now. :)

man where have you been 1000 are mid 9 second bikes, the 600 are deep in the 10s. and just like everything else chances are he also did some mods to the bike, I have a few friends with bikes and not one left them stock.

I know of a few civics that beat 600cc bikes. I remember when my mechanic's civic beat a r6 for $500 awhile ago. From the dig with only regular toyo performance tires. If you got friends with bikes why dont you ask one of them to race me. I'll be driving my car next week. Pm me for my number and maybe judgez24 will come and record it too.

I do not doubt you, but this guy is talking about 4 guys in his car, and all my friends all have big bikes the slowest one is a cbr 900, most have the zx12 and zx14, this bikes are moded and already run low 9's. wouldn't be much of a race.

Ok then, why don't we set up a race, I know It will be a hard for me to beat a 1000cc sportbike, and easy for the civic, My car against the civic with allans money betting on the civic, and judgez24 can video tape it for everyone to watch. edit: everyone keeps saying a 600 runs 10's, thats true, BUT a race from a roll is a completely different senario, the bikes gearing becomes a disadvantage once going from roll. The higher the speed the race was started at, the better chance the civic had of winning.

Trust me i konw how fast a bike "can" be. but with the average rider this civic will take it. as for a 600cc its not even a race for this civic. alo to add another thing, a bike will cut very low 1.xx short times where as a car will sit around the 2.0 mark on average, 2.2 on a street tire and a bit better on a slick, so average 2.0. thats like a high hp fwd vs a rwd car, rwd will **** it out of the hole but the fwd will outrun it top end. ive done it many times. same goes for the bike. and dsmonster, your car is wood :D

I've own a couple of all out race cars aswell, and built them all myself. and also broke a few records at the track. For your information there is now way that car would have even come close to an R1 (yamaha 1000cc), you must have had a wet dream thinking about gtowns car that day.

im just waiting for this race to happen. being a mustang fan my moneys gonna be on the stang for a very simple reason. theyre cheap to build. that and everything is available for them. its like modifying a honda but cheaper with greater gains. ive got a friend who had a mid 10 second stang and had about 10 grand into it. stock bottom end, blown, heads cam suspension tremec tranny, stuff like that, and he daily drove that car for years. so ive seen first hand what theyre capable of, hell i even watched him pump a 700 hp trans am one nite from a dig. really hard too. so im vey anxious to see this race happen. if you guys wanna make it on a sunday id be more than happy to come to the track adn get video for you and after that we'll all go for a beer someplace :)

Well for being 24 yrs He does have a very fast honda. I'm sure he gives it to alot of cars on the street. I never raced a honda as fast as his so it will be intresting.

i once owned a fast car. lol, now i own a reliable car that will be fast. id like to see this stay somewhat civilized on here, but if you guys feel th need to pick on someone, rabbitman is always a good and easy target :D
