I've been ready to race for awhile, just not at the track. The argument was that I could not beat bikes on the highway. I've raced a few bikes recently (including 1000cc) and still won. Any bike owner wanna prove me wrong, pm me.

If its true and ernie you have a low 8s monster I have no chance. But when I do go to the track I'll make sure to pm you anyways so you can finally get your chance to smoke me. Maybe you can give me a head start to make things a little even.

Low 8's on the street? I don't there are any street legal cars doing that but I can be proven wrong, I'd like to see this monster.

youd be surprised. we have a few cars locally that run single digits. a friend of mine has a malibu that runs low 9's and he drives it everywhere and the car isnt even tubbed. and then we have a few monsters aswell kicking around.

My car might manage a low 8 sec run, but to date I got it down to a 8.70, with a 150 shot, the motor can manage a 450 shot, never took it there. I'll race gtown staight motor, the best it ran with straight motor was a 9.68 @144 but that was with 4.86 gears, I have 4.10 gear in it now, so I'm guessing a mid to low 10 sec run, due to the nitrous convertor and my 1.80 first gear. I'll be lucky to get a 1.6 short time.
So I think it would be a close race, may come down to the tree.

I dont have any doubt that you could pull a 600 on the highway, esp an older one. But Im wondering which 1000 cc bikes you were racing and whether they had competent or fatass riders. Litre bikes are not invincible, but you better be bringing 135+ traps to the party to beat a properly ridden one older one or 145+ to beat the newest versions.

There are lots of guys out there that just want the bling of a litre bike to pose at timmies, but have no capability of riding them. I have ran my friends h/c + 150 shot LS1 that traps 130+ and I had no issues walking him on the highway (i mean, deserted airstrip). geared (-1, +3), ram air mod & piped yammi R1, 140 lb rider.
