2000 type R VS 96 sr-v

4 weeks ago when i had my h22 tranny back in.I got a chance to race my friend in his 2000 type R at a stop light, it's basic stock other than a CAI. He had 2 people in the car and i had only
a passenger and subs in the trunk. Im also on 17"s.

SO we hit a light and we both took off when it turned green. First gear i was ahead,i was about 1/8 car length ahead. Shifted into 2nd and i stayed
1/8 length ahead agian.I shifted into 3rd and i was still 1/8 car length head then he shifted into 3rd(he redline at 9000rpm where i redline at 8000rpm) then all of a sudden his car
started inching forward slowly and we stayed even. I shut up down right after about 3 seconds into 3rd gear, because there a light ahead.

Overall i think i won this race. I know i woulda got owned if he was a better drive. THe only bolts on i have are a CAI and 8lbs flywheel.

Good post to have in light of the recent events. Didn't you just say in your other posts that the race wouldn't be on the streets? Now you are telling us that you are racing in an area that the lights are close enough together that you have to stop as soon as you shift into third.

this race was a while back like 4 weeks ago, the street was clear, no1 was around. So why not.

I'd be so embarrassed if I was the driver of the type R.

I can read that it was 4 weeks ago, but you posted it yesterday. Don't you think that the drivers of these other two cars thought no one was around too, it was 10 at night on a desolate strip of highway, but look what happened. :nono:
