it's not really something to brag about because it's an SUV but i pulled up at a set of lights and there was a brand new X5 4.0 beside me and it was a younger kid ( probly his dad's car ) he looked at me and was reving his motor and i laughed because here i am sitting in my 4 dr. 05 pursuit ( stock ) and i thought to myself i'm gonna get smoked..lol.. so i'm like what the hell, when the light turned green we both put our foot to the floor and i beat him to the other set of lights, i was surprised but again it is an SUV!!

i was driving home from Sudbury and i pulled up behind another X5 so i decided to pass because he was going like 95 in a 90 but as i was coming up he steped on it as i did but i still managed to get to 200km/h before he did and passed him



I know it's nothing to be happy but i thought i would share it with everyone!

I call BS. No way would a 145 crank pursuit even come close to beating a car that has 205 more HP..Not to mention that a new X5 would be a 4.8L or 4.4L. Not sure where you got the 4L from..

BMW never made a 4.0L X5 though, old or new... i figure because he said 4.0, it could be he saw a V8 4.4, 4.6, or 4.8, or the V6 3.0, either he mistaken the 3 for a 4, or the .0 with a .4, .6, or .8

if it is the 3.0, i can SOMEWHAT see it happening, as those things certainly ain't light, but then, i still cannot see him dusting a V6 X5, let alone the V8 ones, i call bull on the whole story

just to let you all know, it had a 4.0 badge or 4L on the front fender i believe and i dont care if no one believes me because i was there and he could of not punched it all the way!!! i dont know if he did or not, all i know is that i beat him to the next light!!
