96 sr-v VS 02 RSX TYPE S

well, we will be racing this friday back in the country area to be safe. My friend is getting his TYPE S back with a new engine it in, because the previous one blew. I don't know if it's a newer type S engine or the old one.
I think i will take him , because im the better driver. TYPE S run 15sec flat, correct me If i'am wrong. I ran 15.1 with the h23 tranny a month back and now i have the h22 tranny back on. He is all stock except for AEM V2, i have full exhaust, ebay intake and fidanza flywheel.

Let me know what u guys think? stock for stock ,which car will win in the 1/4mile ?

hm....... it'd be close... it'd come down to driver i believe.... especially considering you say you are the better driver....

stock for stock there pretty much the same in the 1/4..u have a few more bolt ons and considering your the better driver you'd probably win...but he has a brand new engine..not that it would make too much of a difference soo I think you would take it

Just don't race him from a roll, those are much more potent on the highway

The SRV is supposed to be about 210hp from it's 2.2, whereas the RSX-S is supposed to be about 200hp from it's 2.0 that can rev higher IIRC....

IIRC the RSX-S is about 150lbs lighter as well...
