My sister thinks her car is faster than mine, i told her i will race her when i get my 3.23s in. Which car should win? My sisters car is a 97 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder and has a stock 2.4 and an auto. My car has a 305 open element, cat-back, 3.23 rear end, and recent tune up.

I'll let you all know who wins next weekend possibly if my cousin isn't busy and can help me with the rear.

would be a pretty even match up, your car is heavy, and has about the same hp, but you have more torque

not much kinda like the 305 the 2.0 N.A engine (no 2.4 or convertable listed for '97) is rated at 140 hp the 90 camaro 5.0 (the list didn't go back to '89) was 170 hp so not a big difference, especially if you have an open element (it hurts power a bit since it draws in hot engine air)

i don't get it, i know its a 2.4. I thought it was a 2.0 when i was changin the oil and then the filter didn't fit so i got one for a 2.4 and it fits???
