cottage trip racin Camaro vs R32 Skyline
 

saterday night i was comming home from the cottage and a stupid kid in a old 74camaro gunns it past me trying to impress his gf on pasengerside, On a long straight headdin to bellville while im drivin my new R32 Skyline i guess when he seen nissan written on the back he thought slow maxima or sentra. so i put in 3rd got some boost upshifted hammered the throttle somked by him at 150kph. five minutes later I pulled over at a cafe in madoc and about ten minutes later that punk who got smoked seen my car and parked behind it. waited for me too come out so i went out afraid he was gonna kick my @$$ he was huge must have weighed 200lbs, but he just asked what kind of car it was, then said how big is the motor i said its a Nissan Skyline gts-t type M with a RB26DETT he said whats that, it stands for RB model 2.6L displacement D dual over head cam E elctronic fuel injection TT Twin turbo. I had to ask whats the block size in that beast he said 400Ci Chevy carbureted N/A. the best race ive wver been in. P.S. man his gf was so hot it hert looking at her not litterally of corase but it might have if i got caught starrin.Damn

I forsee you losing your lisence very soon with this car. How much boost is it running?

depending what 400 ci motor it was he could have had a bad ass 150 hp and 500 lb ft monster, lol. plus those old tanks are jsut that, tanks. good kill i guess none the less. atleast this guy had enough gas to finish the race. lol :D ;)

If it was a properly tuned 400, it should have walked you. If it was a T/A, it would have been over. Good story, I like hearing big blocks are still out there.,

propely tuned maybe, theyre heavy ass cars and even the 454 cars werent all that fast, especially not 30 years later if the motor is still original. power to weight plays a big role.

i will try not too but shi* happens you know. i think around 7 psi i did not really look.

i was takin too the guy who bought my old ae and the idoit blew the thing runnin it on nos screwed up his shiftin idoit he needs a new motor and asked what too get hes got a spare 10000 so he will use that to purchase it any ideas

i wish i had bout a skyline... i test drove a GTS and thought that was fast, test drove a STi and thought that was fast... im afraid to drive a GTR

if that 400 wasnt a smog motor, he would have eaten up your right hand drive nissan....its too bad that smog stuff started ruining motors in the 70's....and no dont tell me power to weight, because those camaro's arent that much heavier than skylines, and with a 400 big block tuned right, it will eat rice all day....but good story nonetheless
