So i was cruisin earlier, and i see a green GT. It looks familar, and when i see the driver, i realize its this guy this guy that sent me a friend thing on myspace. So we get a quick red light, and i couldnt even get a proper launch, so we both gun it.

I start spinnin tires, and he's at about my side window. By the time i hit 2nd, he's about a car and 1/2 behind. I let off about 65 - 70. He was about 5 -6 cars behind. I slow down, and start drivin normal. From them on, everytime he went by me, he would give it a rev and wouldnt look my way. He finally stopped revvin went i drove beside he and gave the beast a roar.

me - i doubt it will beat it. ive raced and beat countless mustangs (97 cobra, 00 - 04 roush, plenty of 00 -04 GTs, older 5.0s).

him - i saw that u told rob u run 9.00 somethins at the track???

I really dont believe you beat a roush. Either he was incredibly ****** at driving, or it was a fake one. A car about your weight, with about 100 more hp and tq than you have... It doesnt add up. Sorry to burst your bubble.

i think it was like a stage one or something, ya know, just the body kit. oh well. Mr mustang sent me another message.

"You said you ran 8.7's all night long on the last night that the track was open. What track was that, because I was at dorchester and lowcountry for there last 3 or 4 times, but I never saw you. My best time is like a 9.4, my car is really slow, I promise."

8.7 1/8 in a stock lt1? how stock?

Stock except for exhaust and a manual fan switch. I just got my SLP intake in today so within a week it'll have the intake, 170* thermostat and underdrive pulley

seems a little fast for a catback lt1. I might have to raise the flag. any slips?
