Got cheaply beat by BMW
 

Same guy who was talking **** about his brother's Acura RSX just baught a 99 (i think) 3xx BMW.

We lined up on a straight away and he punched it, I did too and was easily pulling away from him. Then I had a car in front of me, so I slowed and went back behind the BMW.

We hit a light, he was in front of me and cars in the other lane with a straight away in front of us. He puniched it and wouldn't let me get in front of him.

I felt cheaply beat because I know if we had lined up and had a legit run that I would have easily taken him.

Anyways, just thought i'd share.

it would help to know what kind of car you have, and what you have done to it :/

Yea, I need to make a sig. I've been meaning to take new pics but its been pouring down rain every day, I havn't been able to give the car a propper bath :)

Anyways its a 95 camaro z28, almost completely stock. It had flowmaster exhaust and its been lowered but that is about it.

I'm going to be getting either Pacesetter or Jethot Longtubes (with matching ORY) + new plugs and wires in early Feb.

Anyways, the guy was really cool about it after the fact. They joked a little at work saying how he beat me but I just told him "we never even lined up, you dont race by one person flooring it and then having someone try to catch up".

But he was cool about it, said it was fun and told me his plans for his car (dinnan supercharger). We both agreed to give it another run once it was dry out. Hopefully i'll have my headers + gears by then.

Headers and gears will help for sure! ;)
