Guess what 3 cars I got to "push" last night?!

Coming home on the DVP I came up on the following cars one by one a couple km from each other. Decided to inch each one up and get them to line up together and then "pushed"* them to see what they could do. Of course I beat them all but don't think any of them wanted to race my 1000 Supersport on the highway so they pretty much gave up after a few seconds.

So what did I line up against on the highway, and all at the same time;

2005+ Dodge Viper (red)

Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder (orange)

http://www.gothamdreamcars.com/image...spyder-o-1.jpg

Lamborghini Murcielago (white)

http://thumbs.autoextra.com/imgs/ag/...1730010000.jpg

What are the chances of getting all three cars at one time + getting all three to step on the gas.

Story:

I'm coming back from the club scene riding on the GSXR 1k, been hanging out downtown checking out the "scenerary". I come off the gardiner and hit DVP north when I come up slowly on the Gallardo spyder. I get up next and give it a little push, he tries for about a second or two and decides that he doesn't want to take on a bike. So I push forward and keep going. A few kms up I come up on the red Viper. He's eager and I pass him, he passes me and we play a little cat and mouse. As we reach Lawrence (and make sure the fuzz aren't radaring) we both come up on the Murcielago. I pull behind (most supercars don't want to go against bikes) the Viper pulls up beside the Lambo and they both slow to put some distance between the front cars. Next thing I hear the Viper kicks it down and shoots 5' flames out it's dual side pipes and they both go, I hammer it and push both bumpers from behind. Next thing I know the Gallardo (who turns out was just playing behind us all) takes the third lane and they all decide to slow, all push for a couple seconds and the Viper is the leader, me following behind, short shifting at 10k so I don't run into anyones bumper. All three decide to get onto the 401 now and I follow suit. Onto the express and they all start going, of course not to be done I notch it down to 2nd and hammer to 12.5k shifts, I leave all three standing (of course they may have got off the gas as soon as I started walking away.) When I got out of it the Viper did sling shot by though, give him that.

It was schweet! Too bad I didn't have my helmet cam mounted. :(

* P.S. For any police reading this, we all stayed at the speed limit and no one ever got past 90km/hr on the DVP and 100km/hr on the 401, plus this was all in my dream as I would never drive like this in real life. :newangel:

I'm pretty sure your "race" was mentioned on 640 AM I was listening the other day and the host of one of the shows was talking about how he saw a bike and Lambo go at it on the DVP for a bit so I'm assuming that is you.

So, out of all the cars, which would you take :p

GSXR 1k is no slouch though, most guys need serious jam to run a bike

What rides do you have that run in the 12's 10's and 8's?

LOL @ bikers thinking they are the fastest thing on the road.

I just laugh at them when they try to get me to race, and tell them "when you can afford to drive four wheels, then come talk to me."

Fortunately for me I own both 2 and 4 wheels. But I do agree with you somewhat. Most supersport bikes are quick but will have a tough time hanging with supercars at high speed (ie. 250km+). In the above run none of the cars wanted to get to speeds that would drag down the GSXR.

yeah ofcourse, a 500 000 porsche will beat a 20 000 bike .... Your insurance for a year will be more then the cost of the bike itself LOL

I agree, anyone can buy a bike and be fast right out the box. Takes way more time/work and money to build a car that can keep up with a bike. thats respect.

ae86kid86 09-01-2008 06:46 PM

true respect is earned

You're so dumb. You asked someone to name a car, someone said a car and apparently that doesnt count because it costs too much?:retard:

SLICKster00 09-09-2008 03:34 PM

Lmfao, acceleration wise i have to go with the Haybussa.

yea but cost doesnt matter, if you said a car with the same COST as the Hayabussa then good luck finding one

cousinavi 09-29-2008 12:06 PM

Ford Mustang 87 to 93 model with some mild mods. Mid 9 sec car for under $15gs. Before you flap your mouth off. Car cost me $2500, built motor $8gs and charger for $2700, and $1500 for rims tire and suspension work.

Lol. I know stangs are cheap to build up but those $$$ sound a little light. How about fuel, ignition, tranny reinforce to hold the power, Differential, drive shaft breaking, roll-cage and chute? And that's not considering you want to stop (brakes).

You do all the wrenching yourself or including labour?

P.S. I'm riding a "slow" Busa now since the the GSXR1K was too fast for me.

You don't need a roll cage to run 9's only if your at the track, I've seen many stangs with stock brakes in the 9's. chutes are for car that run over 150mph, and thats if your at the track. the stock diff is good with some mild mods(spool and axels), killer drive shaft and safty loop about $500.
I know I can get a stang to run in the 9's for very cheap.

nice kill story... come a long way since the 600 days...

type_R 09-30-2008 01:59 AM

sick story man,
musta been a nice ride through the highway there. sick.

but **** that id take a zx-14 and slap a turbo on there and there's nothing but maybe an F1 ride that could keep up. ;)

itsbudda 10-02-2008 11:52 PM

Dude that's sick. I'd pay money to see 3 supercars go at it.

GLI 10-03-2008 01:28 PM

sweet story... must've been a modded viper to shoot 5 foot flames...

Definitely, I could hear the viper over the exhaust note of my bike (and I was running an aftermarket D&D).

The $8gs covered all the fuel and ignition parts needed for the boost. Yes, I do all my wrenching. That way if something screws up, I have no one to blame but myself.

gs_500e 10-05-2008 02:34 PM

Thats mint, I had a chance to cruise beside a Gallardo in my talon and man when he took off it was like music to my ears!!

Fresh_Prince 10-05-2008 04:48 PM

annoying thing next to the everyday ricer

ae86kid86 10-25-2008 03:34 AM

i like that last statement anoying next to the every day ricer LOL not everyone has a ricer

coszmin 10-30-2008 04:02 AM

cool story, must have been fun.

about the cocky bikers i would like to add that indeed, guys who only own a bike and no other means of transportation, and that most of the time are in that situation because they can't afford a car should keep their mouths shut.

i've encountered lots of such cocky ****ers in romania. and funny thing about romania is that it has no highways, and instead is full of single lane mountain roads.

so i've had my fun with them to a point where i was scared for their lives. stupid ****s couldn't handle loosing the chase with a car that they would rape on a straight road. one managed to pass me and almost lost control of the bike when cutting me off. and not to mention that i was doing all of this with a passenger in the car, blasting beats and enjoying heat :). and i did get a few dumb ****s that wanted to race me with girls attached to their bikes, and after smoking them to 130 through cars i'd let them win, once again, afraid for the poor dumb girls life. Because in the end, a 12 second bike with a passenger can't keep up with a 14 second car with two passengers, and a 10 second bike with a passenger will probably result in two deaths in such a matchup

ae86kid86 10-30-2008 08:39 PM

same thing happend when i was in japan only my car was a friends so i did not push it too hard @#$%?& sport bikers
