B16B 08-10-2005 07:23 PM

dreamer.... :loser: did the guy even know he was racing? :bs:

2-2's are slow... go back to sleep and start dreaming up some more figments for your imagination

DVS 08-11-2005 12:34 AM

S2K prolly bogged or boiled badly at the line even if they were racing.

krazycivic 08-11-2005 12:42 AM

hey

lol 22 in a coupe with all bolt ons and some other lil special toys will...my buddys 22 in aa hatch stock dealt a s2k and trust me that guy knew he was racing.....lol he got pulledd.... i dont need to say more...198 to the wheels.....178 lbs trq...in a civic any day will eat a s2k in the quarter mile... and u guys know it... end of story... nuff said

IntrepidGuy 08-11-2005 09:08 AM

hahah alike said above. Keep dreaming! 240 Hp vs your 198. Bah LOL!

B16A2 08-11-2005 12:16 PM

240 crank HP vs 198 WHEEL HP... the S2k is much heavier as well.. ive been in a few 2.2 civics and they SLAMMMMM

Travis

krazycivic 08-11-2005 01:23 PM

hey

to the intrepid guy....240 to the crank i have 198 hp to the wheels can u guess how mcuh i have to the crank..no good.......that is...dont post on here if u dont know what your talking about thank you..and keep on driving your dads intrepid...have a good day and like the post said before thank you travis for putting these people in their place.

krazycivic 08-11-2005 01:28 PM

198 hp to the wheels in a civic
240 hp to the crank on a s2k probably 220 to the wheels

now factor in the weight of a s2k compared to a allmost gutted civic

now u feel dumb for doubting

thank you

and have nice day

:hah:
:smilie_fi

IntrepidGuy 08-11-2005 02:27 PM

No I dont feel dumb. Unless you got a video, of you racing and winning, I doubt very much you won. Dads Intrepid eh? Dont you wish! You keep BSing.

Zapa 08-11-2005 05:54 PM

Lol I once smoked this cool dude on the highway in his S2000 while my bumper was almost falling off my 4 door . I had a smoking session with him starting from 427 untill we hit Erin Mills . He was trying to keep up , i'd let him come close , gun it and pull on him

Then we got off , and he was looking at my car with the biggest disgust and i'm like : YO ... MY BUMPER'S FALLING OFF ... and i smoked you ... 4 times ...

hahaha

Seriously ppl that are calling BS on this guy you guys have no clue what u're talking about , I've smoked every single S2000 I've ever (5 , 2 highway , 2 track , 1 on the street with the cops behind us :( ) raced , and BELIVE ME they were racing . I know the numbers don't add up , but those who know , know , those who read magazines or listen to their mulet friends , don't know

good kill man , disregard the clueless and have fun :P :thumbsup

krazycivic 08-11-2005 06:46 PM

thank you...for people who know they know what and how its possible and why..so if you dont know hondas please dont talk..and keep on driving family 4 door cars like intrepids..lol hahahahha :thumbsup

Zapa 08-11-2005 07:34 PM

BTW man what axles do u use ?

audi_rs 08-11-2005 10:38 PM

its believeable, an h22 with minor bolt ons would push the the same HP, if not, a lil more then a s2000, in a lighter car..

nice kill, i wanted an h22 before when i had my accord, pretty nice engine :thumbsup

B16B 08-11-2005 11:00 PM

no way... 2-2's don't fit in Civics.. im calling :bs:

krazycivic 08-12-2005 01:29 AM

hey

hey b16B wat planet u been on?
thanks audi ....it was a nice kill
need to do more to take my buddies with the 350Z and G35 coupe
i can pull em from 2nd gear but not from the line ....they take off quick cuz of the traction control and the suspension but if i can never get a good grip...
yea didn think the S2k was too fast and i prooved it to myself they would be allot faster with some forced induction... run that at 14 psi and hear the vtec scream...wouldnt mind picking one up afte runi is done nice to mod :thumbsup

DVS 08-12-2005 01:32 AM

I'm pretty sure b16 was just f'in around...

Or so I hope.

peugeot106rallye 08-12-2005 06:56 AM

h22's do fit in a civic my buddy has one in his civic. He can stay on the bumper of a s2000 and thats nothing added

B16B 08-12-2005 01:10 PM

anyone want to buy mine... it only runs a 13.80... hence, 2-2 are not fast

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1.../HTmeet035.jpg

DVS 08-12-2005 01:26 PM

I got $20 :D

B16A2 08-12-2005 01:31 PM

if you cant drive.. you cant expect to go fast... my friend has a 2.2 powered EG and he runs 13.1-13.3 with just I/H/E

Travis

B16B 08-12-2005 03:14 PM

I also ran a 13.8 on a 195/55/15 street tire with full interior.... if I gutted the car like everyone else did, I'm sure it could go faster, but its not a realistic representation of what it would actually run on the street.

what were your 60 ft times? and what are the specs on your car?

mine is:

2280 lbs - street trim (full interior)
13.80 @ 102 mph
2.1 60 fts

eth0r 08-12-2005 05:08 PM

should be running a better time.. whats ur cylinder compession like?

B16A2 08-13-2005 05:27 PM

im running:
2660 lbs street trim
2.4 seconds 60' on 185/60/14 snows
9.96 at 80 MPH in the 1/8th mile

its a B16 in an EG SI hatch

Zapa 08-14-2005 09:00 PM

B16B why would you put the guy down at first , if you yourself have a 2.2 that broke into the 13's .

What , I don't belive an S2000 can do anything better than a low 14 stock ...

krazycivic 08-15-2005 02:43 AM

thank you :thumbsup

B16B 08-15-2005 01:37 PM

because thats the fun of talking crap :stroke:

Zapa 08-15-2005 02:54 PM

come on , as you can see from my examples in offtopic :p , there is so much crap to talk about real bullshit out there , why would you EVER need to talk crap when it's not needed

WHAT? Realistic representation? You make no sense.

B16B 08-15-2005 07:49 PM

if you gut the out of your car and run a drag radial or slick for the track and it runs a 13.0... but then you put your car all back together, adding back in all the extra weight, putting on the street tires, the car is going to run slower... so for this example lets say the car runs a 13.6 when its is in street trim. So you go boasting you run a 13.0 (at the track) and get walked by a guy who runs a consistant 13.4 full interior... realistic representation

Cerberus 08-15-2005 09:36 PM

^So you're saying every car at the track is "unrealistic" if it doesnt have a full interior while running? LOL

Speed is speed. Every racer does what they can to run the 1/4 better. Enough said.

Zapa 08-16-2005 10:04 AM

he's talking about STREET racing ...

and he's 100% correct , the car could be a lot faster at the track than it is on the street . So in a real STREET race , you know the ocasional one that you might run into while cruising on highway 7 or something ...

You could get owned constantly by a car that ran street trim at the track and got smoked by yours .

I ran my 4 door h22 with 14" winter tires and full interior at the track :D it was funny

Cerberus 08-16-2005 11:25 AM

I realize that.......but how many real racers do you know who actually take the time to do that? Ive seen tons of people who leave their car stripped whether they are at the track, on the street, or even picking up groceries.

For the odd few people you're talking about, you're right. But who really cares about them anyway?

Zapa 08-16-2005 01:51 PM

oh no , i was thinking about disconected exhausts , slicks and even doughnuts in the back who do help a lot for qmile times , and can only be used at the track ...

for gutting i know , lots of people drive arround in completly gutted civics I can't say that's a variable from the track to the street .

Cablerat 08-19-2005 12:13 PM

I used to have a 93 SI hatch w/ an H22.

It will easily take out a stock S2000. It's primarily based on your driving abilities in that car. Mine used to spin well into third gear on stock tread, so sometimes even a b16 can easily keep up because your letting it spin.

Like mentioned before, you can hit low 13s in stock H22 hatches with slicks.
Having a strong clutch and Limited slip is very necessary to get anywhere into the 13s. If you don't have LSD and are running stock teg shafts, expect to snap them very easily after a few clutch drops.

krazycivic 08-27-2005 12:50 PM

hey

wat shafts do u reccomend without swittching to 5 bolt..

yokosi 11-30-2005 06:02 AM

Gator shafts are pretty strong.
