How could have this happened?

well thats why my friend told me. kinda hard to believe.

He was going on Saab 95 which is like 180 hp turbo. pretty fast car. Since its his parents it got auto. So he says he got beaten by a corolla like 2003-2004. New one. For me its hard to believe, even if corola had manual.

what do you think?

Brian Spilner was driving the Corolla, and before the race began he said to himself "you're gonna win...you're gonna win", and then he pulled out his laptop and did a motor swap in his Corolla right there.

Your friend missed out and didn't act soon enough.

Well only one explanation....the corrolla mustve had some stickers or at least a piknic table on the trunk :D

You bring it on your self, from what I can tell...You like to race your dads cavel-queer and listen to your buddies tell stories of racing their parents little bit better POS's...you have no idea what that corolla had in it, for that matter you dont even know what the Saab has but ill just stop here since this isnt the smack talking section..

U da man :thumbsup

As for the race ... You know those new crapolas that they have that on TV jumping in it through the windows ... supposedly have 170 ... So that in a stick ... maybe ?

I think you need to learn some spelling and grammar.

Zapa 07-31-2005 07:26 PM

I'm not sure if that smart ass comment was directed at me , but regardless , remember people come here to shoot the , not to get extra marks in high school english , so some might be in a hurry , and not give a flying how correct their spelling is when they're typing at 80 words per minute .

SuprAdam 08-01-2005 03:04 PM

You intelligence is reflected on how you present yourself, in person and on the internet.

you come off as really stupid.

Unless of course english is not your first language, then I feel like an ass.

Either way, write properly if you want to be taken seriously.

Zapa 08-01-2005 04:11 PM

I speak 5 languages ( working on 6 , 7 japanese and russian [pimsleur kicks ass] ) , english was my third , and belive me , I can spell words that native english people don't even know the meaning off ( because my first language is very close to latin ) .

But keep in mind , this is not a business convention , it's a street racing site so like i said , point is here , write fast , and get back to more important things

if you'd like to test my inteligence though i can spec out the requirements and architecture on an automatic spell checker for the site that handles the high availability requirements of such a forum ... :hitit: ... but untill then test yours and don't judge a book by it's upper right corner of the cover

peace
