kyriian 06-19-2006 01:07 AM

b20b or z block ?? you should have atleast tossed in some p30's

alphaq69 06-21-2006 01:45 AM

the camera is in the vr6. not the b20.

it's a b20b block. tossed in p30's what do u mean?

the stance 06-21-2006 07:33 AM

p30's as in JDM b16 pistons....i have some for sale if ur interested pm me.....

alphaq69 06-21-2006 10:11 AM

they fit in the b20 blocks?? i thought you had to go aftermarket if you wanted better pistons...

BrowNKiD 06-21-2006 10:34 AM

thats must me one fast vr or more likely one slow b20 ahaha

alphaq69 06-21-2006 10:36 AM

it could be either or.. but im going to dyno the car in a couple of days.. i have an exhaust coming on.. and i wanna see how much it'll push!..

but the vr was putting down about 170 to 175 whp.i forgot what he was telling me.

the stance 06-21-2006 05:48 PM

yes they fit its been time and time again reseatch it on honda-tech and youll see....they would compliment ur mild setup nicely especially if u invest in cams later on...

alphaq69 06-28-2006 12:28 AM

p30 pistons dont fit in b20. ask around.. my mechanic says they dont fit.. he has a gsr/b20vtec in his delsol and he says you have to go aftermarket. just goin by his word... :smilie_da

TheStance 06-28-2006 12:36 AM

well dont go by his word do urself a favour and so some research.....

mr.mitsu 06-28-2006 12:41 AM

WOW!!!

i felt like i was on acid watching that video :S

invest in a decent digi cam if you plan on recording yourself for others to see, it's more "visually appealing" :D

as for filming yourselves...try not to capture your face next time ;)

cvcrtonv 06-28-2006 01:16 AM

Not sure where u do your research but a b20 has a 84 mill bore and b18a,b18b,b18c,b16a have 81 mill bore. I think u might have to do alittle more.

alphaq69 06-28-2006 06:24 PM

hey it's not my face in the camera.. i have the b20... the camera is in teh vr6. so i could care less who's face is on it... as far as the camera. . it was spur of the moment kinda thing... a camera phone at night is better than no camera at all...

well.. someone said it here.. b16/b18 pistons dont fit the b20... personally i could care less if it did or not.. cuz i'm not going about that way with my car anyway.. the exhaust was just put in my car.. and i'm just waiting on my headers and type r cams.. then tune it.. that's it...

it'll be a quick enough daily driver and i'm happy with it... :smilie_da

JordonRev 07-11-2006 01:36 PM

sounds like it was a good race

SleeperEG6 07-26-2006 05:52 PM

hatchbacks are so fun to drive, short gearing with a 1.8 engine or higher in a light chassis = fun fun fun

alphaq69 08-20-2006 04:32 PM

definitely...

but i still cant hate on b16s. some of them run really good. my boy's crx with b16 and b16 lsd tranny. with intake. he ran a 14.4 on street tires. and that's stock..
