my '92 v.s. SL500
Clearly before you even start to read this you know it wasn't a drag!:hitwithro . So there I was cruising along at a nice 120k on the DVP and it was nice out, slight sunshine and about 20 degrees out. Traffic was steady but a tight. Anywaz I was in the centre lane and came up on a SL500 who was in the centre lane in front of me so I was faster than traffic in that lane so I switch and I'm on the outside and I look in my rear view and there he is in my lane. I figured hey he's one of those people waiting for someone going fast to tailgate, but he wasn't. Guess he wanted to make me look stupid so now he's right on my rear so I feed my engine some more gas. He tries once to make a move on the inside, we're now up to 160. He fails so he's back behind me. We get to a relatively clear patch in traffic so he switches on the inside again and this time I knew he could blow my doors so I feed some more gas. 170 he pulls right up side of me, but I don't even look over:lol_hitti , I just pretend to be sunday driving...hahaha...right as he was gonna go, we get to the big downhill turn at like don mills I think it is and at that point it was str8 balls and know how v.s. him trying to impress the girl in the passenger seat. Buddy doesn't know to drive so he hits the brake, I don't ,cuz I know my capability and the car's and I gun it around the turn and he doesn't even bother trying! That sl could have easily taken that turn but it came down to just plain driving and he lost.
P.S. that was my first race with anyone in the 2 months I've had my car so if it wasn't as exciting as other stories on here (obviously) go easy on me:retard: . Felt damn good to take a high end car !!! and no I don;t drag cuz an old modified VW green hatch blew my doors in sauga and I pretended to just be driving normally:drive:
