New kill in new car

So I was drivin home from school yesterday, when i'm sittin at this stoplight and this orange srt 4 pulls up in the next lane over. At green, we both gun it and I (97 20th anniversary z) end up about a length in front of him. I stop at the next light in the turn lane and he revs as he goes by.

BC he did. one car is hardly a thrashing.(good kill btw. thats def, a driver's race)) And to all those who hate on the srt4, When is the lsat time GM mae a car that offered that kind of performance for 20k? the cobalt ss? try again. those cars new off the showroom were going for 27k+. Now before anyone throws the BS flag, I know for a fat that this was the price, because that is the reason my friend got the srt instead of the cobalt. te cobalt is by far a nicer ride, but horsepower per dollar, the srt can't be beat. Dodge built that car for the younger generation as an affordable sporty car, and they can be scary fast with about $1200 in them.

So true.

I hate the little damn things, but with barely any money in them they are a force to be reconed with. Chances are i'd get stomped by any SRT-4 with some mods.

the lts came stock with about 285hp to the crank. 240 to the wheels.

the srt's came stock with 230hp, 195 to the wheels.

you do the math.

Agreed, the cobalts are def. 10x nicer than the srt in fit, finish, quality, and overall. just looking at the speed per $.
