NorthStar vs. LS1
 

Soo this guy has been talking loads of crap about my camaro... saying its not fast and he can run a `13.199... well he said we will go to the race track or go to the abandoned racetrack we have up here that my friends dad owns the land now...

his car is a 1995 Cad STS Northstar... Stock besides flowmasters...

my car is a 2000 Camaro SS (M6) Slp lid,bellow,msd wires, ls6 manifold, LT's ORY, SLP LM1, sub frame connectors...

i have had my car for about 3 years now so i know how to race... soo i will get vids i will try to get (demon) Derek to video tape the raping..:)

get it done so we can watch the vid.

who the F*ck puts flowmasters on a Cadillac..... sounds like a complete tool.

Northstars are nice engines, but with your mods Id say you can take him... So long as you can drive.

My buddy had them on his caddy it definatly sounded pretty good.

I drove a Northstar Caddy when i was looking for my car and it was pretty powerful, but seriously, you'll dominate him. And i thought luxory cars are supposed to be quiet.

not saying it wouldnt sound good or be fast, i know northstars are solid platforms but cheese and rice, its a 2 ton luxury car.

My friends uncle makes a living of transplanting these engines into differnet vehicles. He sent me a vid recently of a grand prix he put one in. Car looks gay, but definitly has some balls.

The guy is either lying about his mods or his time. I have a northstar Seville, and without a lot of spray or some major mods, there is no way that it would be in the low 13s.
Stock he may be able to pull of a 14.50 at best.
Look for a hidden N2o kit!

My Northstar feels quick, but my best guess would be that it runs in the 15s:lolsign:

i think the northstars are good motors. but like everyone else said. it's a frickin fancy car so it's got a ton of weight to it
