pinto smoked me
 

I was on my way home after going to grannys house for christmas dinner, cruzzin down town and i hit a red light sittin there playin my music pretty low,i hear what sound slike a blower comin then i take a look left and low and behold its a 88 pinto witha hudge blower sticking outta the hood, i kinda laugh a lil bit since the car looks funny with such a big motor in it. anyways he revs a few times i smile and return the revs then the light hits green. My Lt1 jumps out in front to my surprise (prob becasue the big block has no tration with such a lil car) but i jump out about a car lenght and a half hit 2 i thought i was doing pretty good then zooom right by me like a rocket. :wnedx2: i might ad that a blower sounds frekin sweet when its wot flyin by you. i catch up with the car at a gas station he was gettin cigs but i asked him about his car,he said it was a clevland 351 with a gm 6-71 blower :thumbsup: with some fmx manual tranny with 4.11 out back but whoo was it a good set up :hail:

Now.....I realize that this car had a blower and a 351.....but I would still never admit that I lost to a Pinto.

there was a guy near my house in MI that had an old datsun 240 that had a buick motor on nitrous that thing was fast (he worked for gm tech department)

i say the only way to make imports truly fast is to drop old american muscle engines in them.

hey its not just a pinto i might ad ok it was a 351 on roids with a pinto body but whatever i got killed but live to fight another day :rollingla :dancingba
