"Raced" an Acura RDX...
So I'm driving rather close to a certain Acura dealership, and I noticed a lineup of almost 10 Acura RDX's. I pull up to the light, and notice that the light the other way just turned yellow. I stop at the line and turn to the guy driving the lead car and say "lot of the same car, eh?". He responds "Dealer training". I reply "ahhh".
Then we both glance forward, notice our light is green, and I turn back and try to say "let's give it a run", but being the ass bitch that he is, floors it. I try to get off the line as quick as possible, but by the time my car's moving, the guy's already at the other side of the intersection. Thankfully with my new BFG KDW's up front, I had no tirespin at all through first, but I slammed 2nd and got a good healthy chirp. We "raced" until about 100.... then he let off. He didn't gain anything on me throgh the "race".... I'm just pissed off the guy didn't line it up like a man.... but I guess he didn't want to look bad in front of his dealers.... by a Saturn wagon hahahahaha edit: the RDX has a 2.3L turbo I4 pushing 240hp @ 6000rpm and 260ftlb @ 4500rpm with AWD, just about 4000lb curb weight, while my wagon is almost stock and pushes about 125hp @ ~5600rpm and about 125ftlb @ ~5000rpm and weighs about 2400lbs. |

He ran a 15.5 last trip up I believe, which isnt that bad for a mostly stock saturn wagon, don't know how accurate this is http://autos.yahoo.com/acura_rdx_5_spd_at-performance/ says they do 15.7...

I mean, for example, turbocivic, you drive a civic, an economy car just like mine. lol. |
