S55 vs. Grand Am

This is a kill story, but it wasn't really race as the two cars were in completely different classes. I was driving home in my father's (yes, my father's) S55 and a Grand Am (earlier model) pulled up beside me. He was looking over, at first I thought just to admire the car, but as the light turned green he took off. So, I followed suit, and passed him within seconds. We ran into the next red light. As I beat him easily last time I did not think he was going to take off again, but, he did. So once again, I caught up to him easily, and then slowed down. But, he kept going, so once again I caught him, passed him by a few car lengths then had to turn to go home. A fun little race even though it wasn't close.

just stop posting kid...you are a fool...and with every post...you make yourself look even more like an ass.

What tragedy. A total waste of such great technology. I'm sure you will get the attention you cravel on Global News after you stuff it into a pole racing a Caravan Sport.

Plus I doubt it was admiring so much as "what have I done with my life to deserve this POS Grand Am while this nobody is driving an S55" then stomped on the gas heading for a cliff.

I believe this section of this forum is called "Kill Stories" not "Kills you did while driving a car which you own". I have reasons why I do not own a car at this time.

Not owning a car does not mean you don't know anything about cars, or that you don't race anyone, or that you don't have kills.

And it was my father's car, not my "daddy's", I'm not 3.

Z-Tuned: I never reached an unsafe speed, the "races"were too quick. I'm not an idiot.

oh stfu...if it was anyone else who flamed this fag for racing his daddy's benz then you would have agreed. who here is ever give "props" for racing their parents car? thats sad.

ready for this, im gonna predict the future. this schmuck is gonna keep racing daddy's car; keep speeding; keep driving like an ass; and keep getting a shitload of tickets. he will get into an accident, which will be his fault, and total daddy's car. daddy will then cut this stupid, ungrateful pos off, and send him off to fend for himself. chances are, with no money, and no future, this kid will have the time of his life.

too bad he wont be able to afford internet access at that time, so he can see how correct i was.

This is part of the reason I posted in the first place, because I love the comments that come afterwards, it's hilarious, seriously.

Let me just say, I speed as much as everyone else 99.9% of the time, no more. I don't drive like an ass. I have no tickets. I have never been in an accident. My parent's do not spoil me like you think every 'rich' kid is spoiled, (obviously you have no idea). And I guess an Honours Degree from McMaster is the same as no future? And let's be honest, I'll never have "no money".

I'll have my own car by next fall (the reason I don't have one now is due to financial reasons, and the fact that I live a 10-15min walk from school), and at that time if I race someone will I still get comments like this? You base all of your comments on the fact that it's my father's car, and nothing on the race itself.

And please, stop saying "daddy", it's disrespectful and makes you sound like an idiot.

and yes, im making fun of you for racing "daddy's" car, its hurting, and nothing to be proud of. all your whole spiel about your education may be true, or may not be true. frankly, i dont care. you sound like an idiot based mainly on the fact that you decided to come here and brag about that "race".

canadaneedsmusic 11-30-2006 11:08 AM

Why would I be proud of racing my father's car? There's no reason to be proud, nor is there a reason to be not be proud. I was driving home, and this happened, it was not premeditated.

Furthermore, at no point did I brag about this race. The driver of the Grand Am knew it was a mismatch, I knew it was a mismatch, you know it was a mismatch. At no point was I trying to prove anything. The driver of the Grand Am initiated the race in order to see the S55 perform. No bragging going on. Sometimes people enjoy seeing cars doing what they're meant to do.

Instead of making positive comments, you simply feel the need to attack.

so then why did you post it here?

dont answer, you cant win.

you care and are proud or else you WOULD NOT have posted it here.

so you taking daddy's car out for a boot later?

canadaneedsmusic 11-30-2006 12:35 PM

Am I proud of the S55? Sure, it's an S55. Am I proud of the race? No, there is no reason to be. I posted because as far as I know this is a site for car enthusiasts, and I thought they might be interested in the story to some extent.

I am not here to "win", I am defending myself. However, by saying "dont answer, you cant win" you are showing that you are trying to win. Win what? I don't know.

And I have no idea what "so, you taking daddy's car out for a boot later?" means.

if there is no reason to be proud of the race, then why did you post it?
you yourself said in your first post, it wasnt a race. so why is this thread here?

I have explained both of those points in previous posts. Firstly, I said that I posted as I thought this site was for automotive enthusiasts, in which case a 'race' may be interesting. Secondly, as you pointed out, I said that it was not a 'race' in my first post. However, if you read past those couple of words you would see that I said it was not a race because the two cars were not comparable. The act of racing was still done.

It would help if you read and comprehend what I write before you make a comment about it.

DSMonster 11-30-2006 02:05 PM

Don't let StealthZ get to ya. He's just mad at the world because he drives a J-body, and can't afford to do anything about it.

Z-Tuned 11-30-2006 05:04 PM

Pfft, this wasn't an act of racing you lightweight. This was Careless driving on a busy street. To prove what? You have a such small manhood that you have to stomp on a Grand Am - what didn't read up on the specs in Car & Driver you had to see it for yourself.

Come to a real man's race and daddy's car would get served. Are you sure it isn't a 1985 500SEL and you got some numbers mixed up?

Honors Degree in something useful like Russian Lit or something for sure :lol_hitti don't come to my house trying to sell a vacumm in 3 years pls.

SO, ya you blow and I'm going to a new topic...
