i was testing out my new pads and rotors that i just threw on today and on the local main road this STI came flying up behind me, pulled to the light and backfired louder than hell. so i pull up and we are both getting antsy the rest of the trip down the road, we make some curves and slight turns and he finaly goes ahead and pulls off onto a local road that is all industrial and not busy on the 4th of july, so he gets in the right lane and i go over the train tracks, get in the left lane at about 40, grab 3rd, start pulling up to him, hit 2nd, and take off, as soon as he heard me, he downshiftied and stomped it, well it wasnt enough, cause about 3 seconds later i looked in my rear view mirror and had about 4 lengths on him around 70 mph. so i let off, he gets next to me, we go again, and i walked him again like he stood on the brakes almost. i was really suprised at how well i did, or how well he didnt do i should say.lol. idk, i know he had some type of exhaust, it was loud as hell, then i know he had a loud atmospheric BOV and i would imagine he wasnt at stock boost level, but idk. i pulled up next to him in the right turn lane, found an opening in cross traffic as he was gonna go left, gave him a thumbs up, he gave me a nod and a wave and i was on my way. i think he thought he was gonna roast my *** cause when he first pulled up he was driving like a tard kinda and he just gave me a feeling he was kinda cocky, but after we raced, until i made my turn, he seemed like a decent guy and i think he kinda went into his shell to hide a bit.haha. so thats my STI story.
