Mazda's can never be fast!
From the same place as that really fast turbo RSX, Puerto Rico. In fact I'm pretty sure these movies were made at the same track.
https://www.dragtimes.com/images/11030440293235.JPG Looks like a basic Mazda 323 with slicks, right? Some videos: http://members.optusnet.com.au/nmn87/323_1.wmv http://members.optusnet.com.au/nmn87/323_2.wmv The best 1/4 mile ET for CREATIVE PERFORMANCE was 9.78@144 mph Not bad for a car that could be driven on the street if they took the wheelie bars off. |
So what engine is in that?
|
Mazda FS-DE - 2.0L DOHC
Someone on here is going to have the same engine with similar power output, but in a heavier car. |
actuallly, im running the fe3 aka fe-dohc, which is arguably the better... and with any luck i wont be that much heavier with a little more power
|

Nice... there's also a quick street driven rabbit in PR. It did 9.94@142mph a few days ago.

They also have one Subaru STI with the same setup like mine running 10.24@139.
Here is the video: http://www.carrito.net/bigvalley/10.2.wmv With out there clutch problems that they have recently and 700+ WHP 9 sec runs are possible. Another month and I will be taking mine to ST Thomas but with a bigger turbo. :thumbsup |
