OK.. I love 1st gens.. but the first one was ing disgusting. Liked the others though, especially the second one.

fastestcivic 06-01-2005 05:16 PM

make your like the other ones ahhaa...;)

drift_n_shift 06-01-2005 07:07 PM

even if its a rwd car, does it really need a spoiler that big? To me, your rx7 prolly looks the best in that group

sky_kid 06-01-2005 09:01 PM

its a Wangan car, it needs the wing.

Cars exist outside of the woodbridge parking lot and serve different purposes besides parking lot pimping.

are you ing kidding? those are race cars, any cars needs big ass wings when go fast, have you ever been inside an old bug with a 2000cc stroker? the ing thing start lifting after hitting over 180.

ricernoob 06-01-2005 10:43 PM

You ppl with your spoiler inquires are ing hilarious. I'm not even gonna bother going into whether they're functional or not on track (...well, cleary THEY ARE)....lol, just chill and stop trying to be purists :stroke:

All those cars are in sick. if that blue one is yours, then think about maybe taking that aluminum canadian tire spoiler off the back. looks nice and clean otherwise :thumbsup

Thanks for the complement... and ricernoob.... Personally I like the wing cause I can't find anything that fit my car. But I have a pic without the wing...

As for the race cars I'm very sure they wouldn't put such and extreme spoiler unless it was nesessary.. They are wind tunnel tested.... in one picture you can see the blue car is at Volvo getting it done!

If I could make my car look like that.... trust me I would... money is abit tight though for a tube frame.

Those cars however are running a BOSCH mechanical fuel injection which is something I've never seen before.

Even the alternator is mounted backwards

G.A.T EXPORTER 06-02-2005 11:44 AM

, that's one bad looking motor pictured there. Nice 1st gen by the way. I rarely see them here in Japan.

Midnight Racer 06-02-2005 12:31 PM

Your RX7 is the cleaniest First Gen I have ever seen, last I heard you were turbocharging it, any updates?

Thanks Bro... We are building a second Rx7 which is a first gen already turbo charged with some other tweaks to it.... as soon as that one is ready I'll start mine.... I've got the parts ready but at the momment I can't have the down time. I should have worked on it during the winter... Anyhow I'll be at the next etobicoke meet if all goes well.

Here is a pic from the middle of winter, the car has had alot of progress since this picture.... but you'll atleast have an idea. The member Ice effect stops by frequenly to check up on the car.... Just waiting for the exhaust to be done and some Ic piping and some odds and ends and it should be out for atleast one meet at the end of the summer.

Thanks.... yeah these cars are disappearing and very few are left but, this silver rx7 has every nut and bolt sandblasted and coated. Stainless was used extensively thoughout... brake lines to fuel lines everything is polished.

I'll have to take more pictures of the car, but it looks better from underneath than on top!

Lucky for us this was a rust free car and still has original paint! So we were able to spend more money on the smaller details.

It's just a 1984 GSL-SE with a header and Falken Azenis tires. I've got PBR brake pads, a complete Energy Suspension Bushing kit, stainless steel brake lines, new rotors, and a Racing Beat exhaust system going on before the summer.

Original paint, t2 motor and tranny, and many similar mods to yours....

I swear I've seen your car before on the 403???

crazyae 07-29-2008 07:12 PM

yep its very possible... the car has not been on the road for roughly a year now.

JIMMY54 07-29-2008 09:04 PM

any more pictures of your car?

ae86kid86 07-30-2008 05:22 PM

these are great cars. i had a 1990 FC3S but it had single turbo 1.3 but i added another factory turbo making it a twin turbo, better susp, better brakes and street radials i loved that car. PS traded it for ae86 worst decision of my life.

Terrh 08-10-2008 10:51 PM

crazyae, that thing is sweet! I've never seen anything like it. I'm usually not a fan of body mods to 1st gens but that looks great.
