Canon cameras FTW!!

I like my SD 700 IS.

Sorry for highjacking but do you know if you can change video format from AVI to mpeg when recording with the 700? Files are way too big to share with friends when recording in AVI.

to be honest as far as i know ,you cant. i have never seen an option to do so on the camera itself. but of course you can always convert it from AVI to MEPG on your pc once you upload the video .Canon's software that is included with the camera wont do it though, you'll need additional software. Adobe premiere can do it
