FS:Hitachi 57" Rear Projection HiGH DEF TV $200
 

I got a used 57" Hitachi Ultravision for sale.
Model #57S500 2003 model.
It is HD ready etc.

Great unit, has awesome sound too.

Here's the deal,

I bought this TV last jan for $1200.

Recently the red tube gave out and needs to be replaced. I've had a repair quote for $360. Only problem is i dont have a way to transport it, as I had to rent a cube van to pick this thing up in the first place.

This can be an easy fix for anybody who knows anything about electronics, or to anybody who just wants to repair it. I've already upgraded to a 50" LCD so i need to move this unit out asap.
I can give the repair guys' info to whoever buys the TV. He is located in Scarborough.

the tv still powers up and everything, just turns red once warmed up.

if you get the tv fixed and calibrated. then you will have a sale im sure around the $400 dollar mark, since the way it sits right now it is ready for the junk yard. or maybe you could use it as firewood?
