2006 Eclipse
 

Ok....I'm thinking of getting one.

What do you guys think of the new eclipse?

It is flaming.

1st gen talon/eclipse looks better than all the others.

no offense - but i like them a lot better than mustangs. but I believe that the second gen eclipse is the best looking out of all of them. that being said, the new eclipse comes in a 263hp v6. but i just think they got some of the styling off. it is obvious that they left behind the last brutal attempt at an eclipse body change and tried to use some of the gen2 styling cues (wider bulkier look). But I HATE the backend of the new eclipse... i give them a huge F on that. I would not buy the car for the sole reason of that ugly ass backend.

^^ i find the back-end more standable that the ugly front. In general, that car is just ugly... get one like the green one in "The Fast and the Furious" if you're into eclipses'. If you planning to buy a new one, for like what, 25-35G's. I think you can buy another cool car for around taht price area. However, if YOU like that eclipse, and think it is the one for you, then buy it. Cause, dont buy something else cause of some1 elses opinion and then regret. Had this experience b4 with items that cost alot less :)

2nd gen still looks better

FWD amateur car...

But it is quick and doesn't look half bad, if you really want it go for it...
But the new eclipses really need tomse AWD

the new ones dont look that great and they are pretty expensive, i have a 2003 eclipse and i really like the looks and the whole car

i would get the older one's the look a lot better
