2006 Eclipse GT clutch gone

Hi, did anyone experienced spinning clutch on your Eclipse. I have bumper to bumper warranty on the car but Mitsubishi is saying that the warranty doesnt cover it. My car has 49K and never had any problem with it. Any ideas?

Its a wear and tear item so most warranties are now starting to not cover it. How did you determine it was your clutch?

the car started to slip clutch. i gased the pedal and only the rpm increased no speed, so i took the car to mitsubishi plaza on yonge st, and i was told it is the clutch. they are charging me $2000,00. so far nothing is done. cuz i request the district manager of mitsu to cover my warranty. whats the lifetime average of a clutch?

im getting the clutchmaster stage 4, its about $625. I was told it revs faster then the others but its stiffer as well. Last a lot longer. There are 2 recalls in those cars to be done. If someone os from toronto take the car to plaza mitsubishi on yonge st. they have an update for the brakes that remove the squeak sound. Now im going for k&n filters and eibach springs to lower the car. Any ideas?
