Odd... I happen to like the rims.
The car has such an aggressive stance too.

1st gen here.. yeah, they are the best with the solid 6 bolt instead of that 7 bolt.

I hate to break it to ya, but you don't have a DSM. A DSM is 4g63 equiped talon/eclipse/laser,...... your more like a good looking neon with your 420A powerplant :cheeky4:

And midrange, are u sure you have a 4-bolt rear end? If your car came with a 6bolt motor(90-early92's), chances are u still have a 3-bolt rear end if it hadn't been changed by either yourself, or a previous motor. The 4-bolt rear ends w/LSD came out in the late 92-up models, and thats when they unfortunatly went to the 7-bolt motor.

DSM abbrev. for Diamond Star Motors, 1. a vehicle assembly plant in the early nineties, jointly owned by Chrysler and Mitsubishi, located in Normal Illinois. 2. any vehicle built at this plant.

Just because it doesn't have the 4g63 engine doesn't mean it is not a DSM.

All 92's had the 4-bolt rear ends.

Early 92's came with a 6bolt crank and 3bolt rear-end.
Late 92's came with a 7bolt crank and 4bolt rear-end.

And I'm still saying a 2G non-turbo talon/eclipse is nothing more than a sexy neon :cheeky4:

Boogie 03-18-2006 11:23 AM

OK, a NT is still a DSM but yes your point is well made.

But all 92's had a 4-bolt:

The look of the 2Gen's rule it's not even close The first gens may look nice however they are too close to the look of the late 80's lazer, which was one of the ugly set of wheels regardless of what under the hood.

Can some one fix the pics? I wanna see!
